Numerous Ways to Customize
The Ford Expedition is one of the few vehicles in its class that provides an option for two or three seating rows. With the two-row setup available for the Expedition XL STX trim, you can seat up to five people while also taking advantage of nearly 60 cubic feet of rear cargo room.
The next trim level is the XLT, the first three-row seating. It has room for up to eight people. With 20-inch wheels, a power liftgate, and a power-folding third seating row, the XLT offers a lot for a budget-conscious full-size SUV.
Moving up a level, you get to the Expedition Limited. The Expedition has leather upholstery, a panoramic vista roof, navigation, a hands-free liftgate, adaptive cruise control, and a premium B&S sound system. It also offers heated and power-adjustable second-row captain's chair seats.
Ford offers greater luxury with the Western-styled King Ranch. It sports 22-inch wheels, a huge infotainment display, Del Rio leather, power-deployed running boards, and a 22-speaker audio system.
The Expedition Platinum is the top luxury trim. It adds massaging front seats, quilt-pattern leather upholstery, massaging front seats, and active parking assistance. There is also an adaptive suspension and a hands-free highway driving system.
Finally, off-road enthusiasts can buy the Expedition Timberline. Its stocky 18-inch black wheels provide additional ruggedness. The Timberline offers better ground clearance, skid plates, a high-output engine, a limited-slip rear differential, and an off-road-tuned suspension.
You also can get a longer wheelbase with the Expedition Max model variant. It is available for the XLT, Limited, King Ranch, and Platinum trims.
